What it reads
The play-by-play record of major league baseball, pitch by pitch and out by out, back to 1908, and the box scores back to 1897.
What it does
Takes the sentence you just heard and works out how often that actually happens, against every game ever recorded.
What it will not do
Publish a number without saying where it came from, over what population it was counted, and what the record cannot see.
